Theo van Rensburg

As one of the Directors of Kloppers Durban Inc. Theo van Rensburg is dedicated to ensure the quality and efficiency of the work carried out by him and his Durban team, a quality that his clients have learnt to know and appreciate.

Theo's supportive, strong demeanour is strengthened by his humbleness and willingness to assist in every situation. He has a gift for leadership that his staff admires and respects greatly.

Theo is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary who joined Kloppers Durban Inc. in 2007 after practising for his own account as a legal advisor for a group of private companies in KZN. Prior to the start of his career as an attorney, Theo was a former Springbok fullback who represented SA in seven tests between 1992 and 1994 and also played for Northern Transvaal, South Western Districts, Grenoble in France and also spent some time as the assistant coach to the Sharks.

Theo's initial curiosity in law was from a criminal perspective but an introduction to the field he ended up practising as a Conveyancer and Notary. He possesses a passion for property law and finds the act of being able assist people who deal with property satisfying.

As a director, Theo feels it is important that one has the ability to empower people and to make good decisions. To grow a strong team, you must have quality individuals and be able to blend a group of different personalities to create a culture that people want to be part of and want be associated with.

In his spare time, Theo enjoys mountain bike riding, golf, and watching school boy rugby, as well as water-skiing and stand up paddling.
