To reward firms that excel in their audit, the Group has introduced its New Breed Law Firm Awards. These awards reward firms for exceptional results with recognition and the opportunity to showcase their exceptional performance to staff and clients. Each award is valid for two years from date of award and confirms to the public the quality of firm they are working with.

The New Breed Law Firm award is centred around the 5 Group Values of Caring, Standards, Innovation, Expertise and Diversity, with each colour in the award logo reflecting a related value, and by award to a firm, confirming that the firm has fully adopted these values and is worthy of being recognised as a New Breed of Law Firm™.

Kloppers Inc. opened its doors to practice on 1 May 1999 in Richards Bay, when our founding director, Pieter Kloppers, jumped at the opportunity to create something different – a firm of attorneys that prioritised their clients.

From the onset, the practice enjoyed immediate support and rapidly established a following. This quickly led to our expansion and the opening of another office in Empangeni in 2001.

After encouragement from our clients and business partners, we saw the opportunity to expand our reach further with the opening of our Durban office in 2004, which recently relocated from Morningside to Westville, as well as the opening of our Ballito office in 2014. With each expansion, we have had the pleasure of hand-picking our staff and directors, choosing only the cream of the crop.

The PH Group was established in 2006 by founding member firm PH Attorneys and has since evolved to become the Largest Legal Network in South Africa and the only network of its kind that caters exclusively to the needs of South African law firms.

The PH Group was established in response to an identified need of small and medium-sized law firms to form part of a larger network and so gain access to shared resources, expertise and economies of scale.

To ensure member firms aspire to the Group Standards and Values, PH Attorneys undertakes a member firm certification process every two years to review the adherence of member firms to the Group Standards. At the beginning of 2008, Kloppers Inc. took a bold set towards expansion with their association with the Phatshoane Henney Group.
