Mandela Day (Wednesday 18 July) is upon us again, and Kloppers Inc is very proud to be partnering with Focus Magazine and Talisman Hire Richards Bay in support of the Othandweni Community Project’s flagship event.

We have placed Collection Boxes in the offices of some Real Estate Agencies throughout the city, as well as at the offices of Kloppers Inc Richards Bay and Kloppers Inc Empangeni. But now we need the boxes filled….

How can you get involved?

1.    Go through your cupboards and pull out all your used and still in-good-condition clothes or toys and place them into a collection box - all ladies, men’s and children’s sizes welcome! These collections will be sorted into sizes on Mandela Day by our committed volunteers and distributed as needed to our communities.
2.    Walk into your nearest grocery store and gather up a pile of dry and non-perishable foods. Drop them into an Othandweni Collection box and we will see that food distributed to child-headed households in our community.
3.    Volunteer 67minutes of your time on Mandela Day by sorting through the donations we received, cooking meals for orphaned children, icing cupcakes, and packing veggies at the parking Lot opposite Partridge Place office building, on the corner of Tasselberry and East Central Arterial roads in Richards Bay.
